Modern Wonders

Modern Wonders is a typeface I designed for a class project that focused on studying typography and understanding what makes each typeface unique.

It is a display typeface that was inspired by a combination of a few sans serif typefaces and art deco typefaces. I loved the contrast in the thick/thin ratio of many art deco typefaces. The typeface has many unique features such as the overlapping lines in the letters M and W. The typeface is modern, but also timeless and luxurious. It is versatile and can bring attention to its surroundings.
